Native Son, ARPD Park Director and Player
Pat is a native Alamedan who had both the pleasure of playing in the ARPD program and later graduating to employment as a park director. He played varsity baseball and football for Alameda High School. Pat is the son of former Philadelphia Athletics and Boston Red Sox catcher Bill Conroy.
Bill Leitz has a great Pat Conroy story from Pat’s tour at Franklin. But… if you want to hear it you’ll have to visit Bill or buy the PlayBall! DVD. Yes, I know… spoken like an evil marketing guy.
